Specifically with our Krakenhammer^® municipal products, we include a 10-L and/or 2-10-L warranty – the best in the industry. 

2-YEAR ALL-HAZZARDS:

Mercedes Textiles Ltd will repair or replace, at our discretion, covered fire hose products that incur accidental damage within this two-year warranty period. Accidental damage can occur during fire suppression in the form of cuts, abrasion, or other hazards that are present while fighting fires which could render the products unfit for use. 

Contamination of hose that has come in contact with fuels, toxic chemicals and blood borne fluids are not covered under this warranty. Contaminated hose should be considered as an insurance claim as they are unsafe to handle, prohibited to transport, and should be disposed of as dictated by local authority/jurisdiction. Hose and couplings that are used for purposes other than fire-fighting, the use for which it is intended, including Training Academy use and damage incurred due to hose testing operations, shall not be covered in this warranty. Mercedes Textiles, Hydro-Wick Industries and/or Highwater Hose reserve the right of final decision in cases of any ambiguity concerning a damaged product.

10-YEAR MANUFACTURING DEFECTS:

Mercedes Textiles and/or Highwater Hose guarantee these fire hose products to be free from defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of ten (10) years from date of invoice. Any item believed to contain a defect must be returned to Mercedes Textiles and/or Highwater Hose for examination and evaluation. If the merchandise is defective as a result of a manufacturing defect, Mercedes Textiles and/or Highwater Hose will repair or replace the defective product.

LIFETIME DELAMINATION: 

Mercedes Textiles and/or Highwater Hose will provide a lifetime warranty against liner delamination for the fire hose products mentioned below. Delamination meaning the waterway liner has separated or partially separated from the hose fabric.

All other hose & coupling products are covered by our standard limited warranty: Mercedes Textiles Limited warrants its hose products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of that hose which has proven to have failed due to defects in workmanship or materials as determined in our laboratory. No other warranty, either expressed or implied, shall apply. Refer all warranty requests to the Sales Department for the correct return authorization and procedure.

This warranty may be discontinued at any time at the discretion of Mercedes Textiles and/or Highwater Hose. Warranty claims are subject to the discretion of Mercedes Textiles and/or Highwater Hose.
“Grandfather provisions” for existing products in service will continue to apply.
